Homeopathy

“The purpose ofHomeopathy is to restore health rapidly, gently, permanently; to remove and destroy the whole disease in the shortest, surest, least harmful way, according to clearly comprehensible principles”. – Samuel Hahnemann

Homeopathy

Homeopathy has been around for more than 200 years so it’s likely you’ve heard something about it. This mostly depends on where you are located. For example if you happen to live in France which is ranked #1 in the performance of its health care system https://www.who.int the chance is much greater because 40% of the population uses homeopathic medicines and 30% of family physicians prescribe them.

People in countries where homeopathy is not as popular have more conflicting views about it. There is very little understanding of what homeopathy is (and isn’t). But that wasn’t always like this. Homeopathy became extremely popular during the 19th century primarily because of its impressive successes in treating the infectious disease epidemics that raged during that time tps://www.lidsen.com/ At one point there were more than 100 homeopathic hospitals, 22 homeopathic medical schools and over a 1000 pharmacies in the United States alone. The fact that so many highly respected people and cultural heroes over the past 200 years have used and advocated for homeopathy provides additional evidence for this medical system. Some of these cultural heroes include eleven U.S. Presidents, six popes, JD Rockefeller, Charles Darwin, Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, and scores of literary greats, corporate leaders, sports superstars, world-class musicians, and monarchs from virtually every European country.

Important note: People who used homeopathy in their own lives reported the following changes:

  • ability to resolve many if not most emergencies on their own,
  • saving time not going to crowded emergency departments or local clinics and often waiting for hours to be seen,
  • saving money on expensive drugs,
  • reduction or disappearance of fear and anxiety related to health because there is no longer a sense of helplessness or a dependency on health professionals,
  • developing a radically different view on health and life in general because the philosophy of homeopathy is not only about fighting against something, but mostly about the understanding and working together,
  • the possibility that you will outlive all your friends… reaching the age of queen Elizabeth who used homeopathy all her life.

Basic Principle of Homeopathy – The Law of Similars

The word homeopathy comes from the Greek language, consisting of two words: homoios (similar), and pathos (suffering), and involves the use of a natural law of cure called the law of similars. This law was re-discovered by German physician, Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, over 200 years ago as a result of the realization that in his day, as it is still a case today, medicines were given to suppress or counter something, so that almost everything was “anti” something – anti-biotics, anti-inflammatories, anti-histamines, anti-psychotics, etc. All this falls under the law of opposites and is currently the main approach to every problem we face in this reality. Isn’t it one of the reasons why so much violence, abuse and so many wars exist in today’s world? As we try to fight and annihilate anything or anyone that threatens in any way our survival. This approach is fueling conflict and many are beginning to understand that it is not effective and is the reason why we are where we are today. We require thus a radical change in our approach to diseases and life in general.

The law of similars, or also called the principle of  like cures like, was heralded by the Oracle at Delphi, the Bible, and various Eastern cultures, and also what the modern-day immunology and allergy treatments are derived from, holds a totally different approach. This means that the homeopath, out of all the available remedies, has to select one that mimics the best existing symptoms in the patient and in this way support, rather than suppress, the symptoms and the innate intelligence of the human body.
